Hundreds of participants had a chance to learn about the origin of oldest wines in Georgia, Caucasus and beyond; impact of wine industry on economic development of Georgia, and process if penetration of Georgian wines on mainstream American market, and in Boston area.
Most importantly, they had a chance to taste exceptional Georgian wines.

The Conference and Qvevri Symposium took place at Harvard University’s Faculty Club. Words of welcome and pening remarks were given by David Bakradze, Ambassador of Georgia to the United States, and Mamuka Tsereteli, President of the America Georgia Business Council.
We had the pleasure of hearing about EIGHT MILLENNIA HISTORY OF GEORGIA IN THE GLOBAL CONTEXT OF WINE from industry legends like
Patrick McGovern of University of Pennsylvania, Lisa Granik, Master of Wine
and Levan Mekhuzla, Chairman of National Wine Agency of Georgia. The presentation was moderated by Alexandra Vacroux from Davis Center of Harvard University.
Afternoon discussion about VINES OF GEORGIA: ARCHAEOLOGY, BOTANY, GENETIC. We heard from the esteemed scientists and industry leaders like Laurent Bouby of University of Montpellier, Roberto Bacilieri of INRA Montpellier, Malli Aradhya of UC Davis, David Magradze of National Wine Agency and Tina Kezeli, President of Wine Association of Georgia.
