Please join us to promote Investment, Trade, Political & Cultural Cooperation between America and Georgia
Our strength is the deep understanding of Georgian political and business landscape, direct access
to the high-level government officials and agencies, diversified business contacts and strong
reputation of the reliable resource both in United State and Georgia.
The America - Georgia Business Development Council was formed in January, 1998, in response to requests
from a number of companies. The Council's objective is to raise Georgia's visibility in North
America as an exciting place to invest and do business, and to maximize opportunities in
Georgia for our members. Specific functions of the Council include:
bringing our members together with key authorities and decision makers from Georgia.
convening workshops, seminars, speakers, panel sessions, receptions and exhibitions to inform companies about the opportunities and risks of investment and trade.
providing a forum for members to discuss how opportunities can be maximized and risks minimized while doing business in Georgia.
creating informational and promotional material about specific business opportunities in Georgia for North American companies.
bringing together partners who might otherwise remain unknown to each other.
publishing a members' newsletter that covers key political, economic and social factors that influence investment and trade in Georgia, with the aim of helping companies track the conditions that affect their investments.
cooperating with other business development councils and chambers of commerce that are involved in the Caucasus, Central Asia and Russia, with the aim of sharing information and experiences of American companies in those regions.
The Council is 501(c) 6 corporation. We have two classes of membership: "A" members, who pay annual dues of $8,500 and who have a seat on our Executive Advisory Board; "B" members, who pay $4,500 for all of the services of the Council but with no seat on the Board; and "C" members, nonprofit organizations, who pay $950.
